Structured data
Where prose says "we are a Kolkata consultancy founded in 2007", structured data says the same thing in a form a machine cannot misread: type Organization, location Kolkata, foundingDate 2007, and crucially an @id, a permanent identifier other pages can point at. Articles declare their author, publisher and dates the same way.
Structured data is not a rankings lever in itself, and stuffing it with things the page does not say backfires. Its value is precision: it removes the guesswork from how search engines and assistants understand who published what, when, and about whom, which is the raw material of entity records and citations. Every page on this site carries it; view source for a live example.
