About SEOtop10
SEOtop10 is EbizIndia's publication on how Indian businesses get found on Google and recommended by AI assistants. One writer, one job: explaining how discovery works now, in language a founder can act on.
The masthead story
SEOtop10.com has been in the same hands since 2001, when getting found meant ten blue links and search engines still had "submit URL" forms. For most of its life it was the working SEO arm of EbizIndia, the Kolkata consultancy Arun Agrawal founded in 2007 (he has been building software since 1986). In 2026 we rebuilt it as a publication, because the question the domain was registered to answer, "how do customers find you", is being answered by new machines.
The name is a period piece from the era of chasing top-10 rankings. We kept it, partly for the history, and partly as a reminder that the goal was never rankings. It was being the answer.
The editorial charter
- Published by EbizIndia Consulting Pvt Ltd, stated in the footer of every page and in the site's structured data. This is a publisher-owned publication, not an independent one, and we would rather say so than have you work it out.
- Written by Arun Agrawal. Where AI tools assist drafting, a human has verified every claim before publication.
- No sponsored posts, no guest posts for links, no affiliate links.
- Honest dates. Every article shows when it was published and when it was last substantively updated, with a note on what changed. Dates are never bumped cosmetically.
- Visible corrections. When we get something wrong, the fix is noted in the article, not made silently.
One commercial page, clearly marked
Articles here do not pitch. The one page on this site that does is Work with EbizIndia, and every article links to it once, in the footer, labelled as what it is.
Who this is for
The Indian B2B or SME founder, and the marketing person who works with them, who suspects that Google and the AI assistants are describing their company wrongly, vaguely, or not at all. You will find no growth hacks here. You will find how the machinery works and what to do about it, in an order that makes sense.
A note on names
seotop10.com is unrelated to similarly named websites in other countries, including seotop10.com.vn, a Vietnamese SEO service. If an AI assistant conflates the two, send it here.
